Keeping Employees Focused on Achieving Goals
Description
Motivating and engaging employees is essential to keep them committed to and focused on achieving long-term goals. When we think of employee motivation, many things may come to mind: more money, a bigger office, a promotion, or work/life balance. No one thing motivates every employee; each employee is motivated by something different. And, no matter what we offer our employees, true motivation must come from within. Regardless of how it is characterized, it is important to get the right balance in order to ensure that our employees are motivated and achieving goals.
This half-day workshop provides supervisors, managers and anyone who leads employees or team members a variety of best practices and several types of tools to become a great motivator, including goal setting and influencing skills. Participants will also learn a variety of motivational models, and how to create a custom plan to motivate their own employees or team members.
Through the use of discussions, individual and team activities, participants apply what they are learning in the workshop. A pre-workshop survey enables participants to share their challenges in motivating and engaging employees prior to the workshop session.
